Most people find us when they are looking for acoustic panels or soundproofing for a commercial project, usually offices or educational institutions. India's commercial construction market has grown fast, and the acoustics side of things has not always kept up.

A lot of buildings go up with hard floors, glass partitions, and open ceilings, and then someone realizes the space is too loud to actually work in. That is where we come in.

Everything under the Acousstop brand is made at our Coimbatore facility: wooden panels, PET felt panels, fabric-wrapped panels, acoustic doors, movable partition walls, ceiling baffles, vibration isolation products, and the full specialist range.

A few numbers that matter when you are specifying materials: our Comfy fabric panels reach NRC 0.9, Contour hanging panels reach NRC 0.85, and Niche wooden panels reach NRC 0.8. These are tested values, not marketing claims.

The louver products have been tested at National Aerospace Laboratories, giving architects and consultants a credible basis for acoustic specification in India.

We also make Silenz, a high-density rubber membrane for sound isolation in walls and floors, along with Vibro Mount, Vibro Pad, and Vibro Roll for gyms, equipment rooms, and spaces where impact noise is a problem.

Bangalore is home base, but we take on projects across the country. We have worked in Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, and other cities across the south, and we are not limited to any single region.

The spaces we handle most often in India are corporate offices, IT parks, universities, schools, auditoriums, hotels, and recording studios. Conference rooms and open-plan offices account for many enquiries because poor acoustics show up quickly in day-to-day work.

We do not just ship panels and wish you luck. The team gets involved early, usually at the design stage with the architect or interior designer. We discuss what the space needs acoustically, what the aesthetic requirements are, and what the budget looks like. Then we recommend products, provide technical specs, and handle installation.

For a small conference room, that process might take a couple of weeks. For a large corporate campus or university building, it is a longer engagement. Either way, the approach is the same: understand the acoustic problem first, then pick the right product for it.

Acoustic treatment and soundproofing are different things, and people mix them up constantly. Treatment controls sound inside a room, including echo and reverberation. Soundproofing blocks sound between rooms. We do both, but the products and approach are different.
